"Towers of Tomorrow" Lego Exhibition at Science World Vancouver

When discovering that the world-famous “Towers of Tomorrow” Lego exhibition was coming to Vancouver’s Science World it was the perfect opportunity to give Translinks Media Table an extended life and some local context to the exhibition.

Table redesign elements

  • We redesigned the table with touch screens around the sides. This allowed for a more interactive experience as the young exhibit goers need to scan their hands to activate the presentation.

  • For safety and security, we installed protective screens around the model and perforated siding to discourage anyone from climbing under the table. These perforations match the scale of the studs/knobs on the top of the brick and allow for ventilation of the underneath of the table

  • We also installed custom coloured lighting under the table which partnered with the perforated siding made for an awesome visual effect

  • The sound system was a redesigned to go under the table facing outwards as the table was now in a large open room amongst other exhibits

Troy McNamara

A good idea with passionate individuals behind it is what gets me going!

With training and work experience in Marketing, Event Management and Architecture along with being an International Sailing Coach for the past ten years I have been afforded the opportunity to work alongside many inspiring individuals and groups.

With this experience I came to realise my passion and strengths are within creating and building relationships as well as realizing an idea or team's potential and helping them present that potential to prospective clients both visually and verbally.

I am always looking for a challenge and for the opportunity to help an individual or team bring an idea/dream to fruition!
