MetroVancouver - Switch to Cold Campaign

The Brief

To create an activation that would educate the public on microplastics in washing machines.

Considerations…

  • To be accessible by both children and adults ;

  • For microplastics to be visible ;

  • Engaging visuals to capture audiences’ attention.

The Result

Process

We created a large-scale washing machine with crystallized lenses at both adult and children’s heights to allow easy access to a visualization of microplastics in the wash.

To attract the general public’s attention we also programmed different colors and animations within the washing machine and created an acrylic sign to promote the use of less soap.
